Family Tree Relief Nursery

St Anne's is the founder of the Family Tree Relief Nursery, a community-based non-profit for the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Family Tree offers free therapeutic pre-school classes, home visitations and parenting education for at-risk families with children under age 6. The Relief Nursery also runs a clothes, diaper and toy closet on its site to help meet the basic needs of enrolled families.

St. Anne’s partners with other local churches to help the poor or disabled in the community with specific, tangible needs. Some of the assistance offered includes the provision of school supplies to needy children, hospital or in-home visitation to the elderly and shut-ins, food and blanket distribution, gardening/grounds maintenance, and general household repairs.

St. Anne’s Food Basket

Members of the church are invited to contribute canned food items on an on-going basis for anonymous distribution to parish families that are experiencing serious financial difficulties.

Children’s Home of Hope, Albania

The young children in this Albanian orphanage, operated by a devout Orthodox Christian family from the United States, are provided with toys and clothing items from St. Anne parishioners on an annual basis to help bring a little added joy to their celebration of Our Lord’s Nativity.
